YPP Network Description

The MacArthur Research Network on Youth and Participatory Politics (YPP) formed out of recognition that youth are critical to the future of democracy and that the digital age is introducing technological changes that are impacting how youth develop into informed, engaged, and effective actors.

Ashley Lee

Ashley Lee is a doctoral candidate at Harvard Graduate School of Education. As a research assistant on the Good Participation project at Harvard Project Zero, Ashley is exploring issues at the intersection of digital media and youth’s civic and political expression. As part of R&D efforts, she designs and studies digitally networked, participatory spaces for young people.
