Jon Rogowski is a graduate student in political science at the University of Chicago, where he studies American politics and political methodology. His substantive interests include campaigns and elections, the presidency, and separation of powers issues. He is currently developing a dissertation project that examines how democratic institutions affect the quality of the choices citizens face and identifies the behavioral consequences of such institutions. He is also the co-author of a book project that explains patterns of congressional accommodation to the president during wartime.
